OUR MISSION
Valentine’s Day is often filled with friends, cards, and celebrations—but for someone experiencing homelessness, the day can feel forgotten. Everyone deserves to be reminded that they are loved, especially on a day centered around kindness and connection.
That’s why we bring students, parents, and teachers together to create Valentine’s bags filled with essentials and handwritten notes of encouragement. Most students will never meet the person who receives their bag, and that’s what makes it so meaningful. Every word, every drawing, every gesture becomes a powerful reminder of hope for someone who needs it most.
SHARING LOVE ACROSS THE CITY
Each year, we partner with schools and community organizations to create Valentine’s bags filled with everyday essentials and a handwritten card. These bags are delivered to shelters across the Atlanta area, reminding people experiencing homelessness that they are seen and cared for.
To prepare for Valentine’s Day, we host an MLK Day packing event, where hundreds of students, parents, and volunteers come together to assemble bags and spread love through service. Our goal each season is to share 5,000 Valentine’s bags with the community, while also hosting special Valentine dinners at local shelters to bring people together in celebration.
HOW IT WORKS
We make it simple for students and families to share love on Valentine’s Day:
Connect – We partner with schools, classrooms, and community groups.
Create – Students and families design Valentine’s bags and handwritten cards using our easy step-by-step guide.
Deliver – We match every school with local shelters and ministries so they reach people who need them most.
